Polar Bear Windows and Doors is a family owned business dedicated to providing premium windows and entrance systems to homeowners and contractors across Ontario. From our humble beginnings as a small retail outlet in the late 70's, we have evolved into a multi-facility manufacturer, retailer and renovator.

Originally founded in Sudbury, it didn't take long to realize there was a strong interest in our products throughout Northern Ontario. Our customers needed windows and doors built to withstand the worst a Canadian winter has to offer and that is exactly what we gave them. A high efficiency product, long before high efficiency became an everyday concern.

With the demand for Polar Bear windows growing rapidly it became apparent that it was time for us to grow as well. We opened a retail location in Timmins a few years later, with tremendous success, eventually leading to the construction of our second full service operation. Our newest location in Orillia, currently a retail and renovation division serving Central Ontario and Muskoka, has also been a hit with quality minded consumers and its' expansion to a full service location is already being discussed.
